Current Problems is having a cleanup event on Friday, November 30th in the afternoon on the east side of Gainesville. This started out as an after school event, but there are so many areas of really bad litter that we’d like to invite anyone and everyone who might be able to come! 

Some of the spots that have a lot of trash aren’t accessible to our after school crew (the banks are too steep for our kindergarten through 3rd graders). 

The areas that are in need of attention are primarily along Little Hatchet Creek. Two big spots are on 15th street by Rawlings Elementary and north of Howard Bishop/Metcalfe Elementary.
