Anna Sampson: PresidenT And Director

Anna Grace Sampson received her Masters in Sustainable Architecture from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2009 and completed the required 5,600 Intern Development Program hours to become a licensed architect. She has since used her creative and mathematical education to fight climate change in the nonprofit sector. Anna is a volunteer energy auditor, TEDx speaker, guest lecturer, Community Weatherization Coalition board member, and mentor to young professionals and recent graduates. When Anna isn’t working as one of Mother Earth’s accountants, she enjoys running, practicing yoga, playing the violin, meditating, reading, and snuggling her two year old.

 


Tara Clever: Treasurer

Tara Clever is the VP of Marketing for MarginEdge, a high-growth, tech startup serving the hospitality industry. Over her career she has worked across sales, operations, and marketing spanning the health, wellness, and hospitality verticals, with a speciality for architecting data-driven growth. Tara lives in Washington, DC with her husband and furbaby. Her interests include hunting for the first daffodil in Spring, the highly rigorous search for the perfect fried brussel sprout, putting seasonal yet tasteful accessories on her puppy, and plotting her next trip to see her family - and seriously delicious nephew - back home in Gainesville.

 


Payal Khurana: Secretary

Payal is the Co-Founder & Managing Director of LaunchPad and Starter Space. Her dynamic background ranges from business strategy, healthcare IT, entrepreneurship, and personal development. She loves spending time forest bathing, writing, and connecting with others on how to serve the moment best. She's a mama to one precious son who keeps her on her toes on a daily basis.

 


Patrick Sanders: Officer

Patrick is a multi-disciplined Creative Director with a strong background in developing brands for businesses and organizations of all sizes. Strong, strategic and creative work is important to him, but it’s the environment he nurtures, and the teams he works with and develops that make it special for him. Patrick loves the Oregon wine region he lives in and around and traveling with his partner, Chris.

Grace Ebner: Officer

Grace Ebner received her Bachelor of Arts in Sustainability Studies with minors in Business Administration and Environmental Science from the University of Florida in 2017. Nature is captivating to Grace and she finds peace when surrounded by plants. She strives to connect the community with their natural environments. She loves relaxing with her two sweet dogs and enjoys gardening, painting, and practicing yoga. She is passionate about ecology and the power of positivity.

 


Kilaine Shelley: Administrative Assistant

Kilaine Shelley is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art, specializing in Drawing and Painting at the University of Central Florida. Kilaine has always been passionate about advocacy, and strives to make a difference for people and planet. Outside of working hard to combat climate change, you can find her either in the studio or working as a printmaking intern at Flying Horse Editions. On the weekends, Kilaine loves spending time with friends, playing video games, and taking walks outside.

 
 


Sam Disabb: Greenhouse Gas Accounting Associate

Sam Disabb is a junior at the University of Florida pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Engineering. Originally a Gainesville native, he has always felt a connection with nature, stemming from exploring the city’s preserves and parks growing up. This eventually turned into a passion for helping the environment and a desire to work in a field where he can create meaningful change. In his free time, Sam plays soccer, chess, and spends time with his dog.

 

Gigi Fernandez: Administrative Assistant

Gigi is pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Science with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Florida. She has always been devoted to environmental stewardship, protection, and conservation. Her admiration of the natural world inspires her to work on improving sustainability in businesses, especially in sectors where overconsumption and harmful practices are so prevalent. In her free time, Gigi loves to visit local markets, work out, hang with friends, travel, and spend time with her furbaby.

 

Rose Goodbread: Accounts Manager

Rose Goodbread received her Masters in Global Sustainability from the University of South Florida and interned at We Are Neutral during her undergrad at the University of Florida in 2019. Since completing school, Rose has worked in food justice and security. She is excited to return to We Are Neutral and transition into her new role, where she can help address the impacts of climate change. She is committed to learning about the social and environmental issues that impact the community around her. In her free time, Rose is rock climbing, taking cold plunges in mountain creeks, or hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

 

Kayana Haeusser: Operations Supervisor

Kayana Haeusser received a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science from the University of Florida in the fall of 2022. She is dedicated to making an impact in society by finding sustainable solutions for the future and our planet. In her free time, Kayana enjoys being outdoors, walking nature trails, and going to the beach. She also loves caring for her two cats, collecting funko pops, and going to music festivals.

 

Molly Allen: Intern

Molly is a senior at the University of Florida pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Sustainability Studies and Economics with a minor in International Development & Humanitarian Assistance. She is passionate about conservation, environmental justice, and contributing to a more sustainable future. In her free time, Molly enjoys reading, caring for her plants, traveling, rock climbing, and spending time outside.

 

Varija Mai: Intern

Varija Mai is a junior at the University of Florida pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Science and a Bachelor’s of Art in Economics. She has always loved being in nature, and growing up she enjoyed the beautiful Florida beaches around her. She is motivated to create a difference to improve our natural world. In her free time, Varija plays tennis, travels, and hikes the nature trails of Gainesville.

 

Taite Miller: Intern

Taite is a senior at the University of Florida pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Science with a minor in Economics. Her genuine love for the environment has evolved into a strong commitment to make a difference. In her free time she loves going to the springs, doing yoga, and reading.
