Since 2006 we've been working on greening the Gator Nation through locally-made carbon offsets. Through a long lasting partnership with the University of Florida's Athletic Department, we've established the Gators as the first carbon neutral team in the nation. Scroll through the timeline for a history of the Gator's green accomplishments.

The Florida Gators impact:

• Established as the first carbon neutral team in the nation

• Distributed approximately 72,000 high efficiency CFL light bulbs in the Gainesville community

• Provided energy retrofits for more than 750 families in low-income housing, with an average utility savings of ~13% for each family home

• Saved approximately $3.5 million in utility bills for low-income residents (over 5 years)

• Planted more than 45,000 native trees on conservation lands in North Florida

• Provided community service opportunities to over 300 volunteers

• Recognized as a Collegiate Game Changer by the National Resources Defense Council
