"We started Brave Space Design our furniture company, designing and building new and innovative pieces for living space. However great and amazing a new design can be to create, it will always mean adding another "thing" into our world. We have always considered the lifespan and environmental weight of what we make, past the point of the piece leaving our shop space. Pretty soon after starting our company in NY, we were able to offset our utilities with wind energy as well as making beneficial choices about material use and the finishes we use. We have continued to offset our energy use after relocating our furniture company and also adding a sister company (Timber Line Jewelry) to the mix. For us, it feels like an obvious and responsible action and we are very grateful that there are companies out there like We Are Neutral making it a priority as well as making it extremely easy for people and companies to do."

"We've been wanting to offset - amongst many environmentally progressive measures - for a long time. Our brand is very much a statement of not only creativity and a new way of looking at your own walls, but also a new way of looking at the experience people have with a company that makes something tangible. We simply want to do things right; that's at the core, but it ends up making us flip a lot of conventional priorities. So the customer is at the very top of our priorities and being environmentally considerate is another one. That has not always been something easy for a manufacturing startup to do, but we've done it within our capabilities as we've grown. We were very excited to find out that carbon offsetting was so within our reach when we met We Are Neutral. It was pretty much a no-brainer after we did our due-diligence."

"When I made the decision to join the Fracture team, I vetted the company from many different angles. One of the values that appealed to me the most early on was the focus on environmental responsibility and reducing waste. Fracture's founders lead the charge here and weave a green thread through all facets of Fracture daily life. It's carried over to how I talk with my children about our family's responsibility to our planet and yet another reason why I am so proud to be a member of the Fracture team."
-Herb Jones, CMO, Fracture
"We offset because it's the right thing to do. We offset because we know that every step we take has an impact, and we as a people, as a society, should be doing everything we can, however large or small, to make sure that we leave our world better off than the way we found it. Offsetting is not all we do, it's not all we can do, but it is a small and necessary step in the right direction. Any business that cares would do the same thing."

"East End Eatery decided to offset our carbon footprint as the next step of our commitment to our community and our planet. We recycle and compost, have solar panels on our building and shop locally as much as we are able. Going neutral is something we all aspire to do; "We are Neutral" is the vehicle to achieve that goal."
